Apple IPhone 6 Review, Impressions - It Is Worth It?
A raging phenomenon has undeniably taken the world by storm: the iPhone frenzy. When Apple put word out that they would be bringing a new mobile phone to market, the world erupted in frenzy, second only to the fuss made when the first iPhone hit the streets. This time around, many think that Apple has once again outdone themselves with the iPhone 6, the latest revision of the iPhone line thus far.
A lthough fashionably late in this part of the world, the iPhone 6 is still one of the most sought after phones in the region. At first glance, the iPhone 6 does not bear any stark differences from the original iPhone, until you lay in on its front. Replacing the original aluminum silver backing is a glossy Space Gray, Silver, Gold casing. While we welcome the change, we noticed that the new casing is easily smeared with ugly fingerprints – There is a Fingerprint sensor -Touch ID!) Be prepared to bring a cleaning cloth around if you can't bear unsightly smudges. The iPhone 6 is also prone to rocking when placed on a flat surface as its rear end is curved. Refreshingly, the buttons on the side are now a shade of silver.
The display it’s bigger: 750 x 1334 pixels, 4.7 inches - Multitouch! For the iPhone 6 plus version, the display it's huge: 5.5 inches! :-)
Apple iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB, Gold (Unlocked)
The iPhone 6, as with the original iPhone and previous iPhone 5S and the iPod Touch, sports a single button on the front, the Home button, which takes you back to the main screen every time you press on it. There are the standard buttons around the device that adjust the ringer volume and power button that one finds on a touchscreen device these days. One of its key selling points is its vibrant, high-resolution screen, which guarantees a great experience when viewing images or watching videos.
A stonishingly, the iPhone 6 manages to cram in a complete radio set in its small footprint: the quad band and HSDPA network radio, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
The iPhone 6 comes with the iOS 8, upgradable to iOS 8.0.2 software update, and the developers have kept the interface as simplified as possible, making it easy for first timers to get the hang of using the phone. The iPhone 6 also has an on-board accelerometer which ensures the screen orientation changes from portrait to landscape and vice versa with a simple rotation - great for viewing images or surfing the Internet, with Browser HTML5 (Safari).

While the iPhone 6 is a masterpiece in its own right, we did have a few gripes with the phone. The small virtual keyboard makes inputting text a less than joyous occasion. We also don't fancy the basic 8 Megapixel camera (3264 x 2448 pixels), phase detection autofocus which lacks dual-LED or video capabilities - 1080p@60fps, 720p@240fps. The second camera it is also perfomant!
Suffice to say that any worthwhile digital photography isn't something you can conceivably do on the iPhone 6. Another gripe we have is the battery life, which isn't spectacular by any means. With occasional use with the wireless connections enabled, the iPhone 6 can last from morning until nightfall.
Besides the fact that owning one will set you back financially in quite a significant way, the extremely chic iPhone 6 is still like no other. Ideeas by Ryan Block and Beth Gorham.
